Q. Do you have training resources for MYOB Accounting V18?

A. Yes we supply training materials for the latest version of MYOB, including Accounting Plus 18.5 and Premier 12.5, which was released on October 2008.

Q. Are your training resources mapped to the performance criteria?

A. Yes all of our Training and Assessment Resources have been mapped to each unit’s elements and performance criteria.

Q. Do you have the answers to the assessment questions?

A. Yes we do. You can purchase the Assessor Marking Guide, which has the answers to the Assessment questions as well as key knowledge and application for each practical exercise. Skills and knowledge are required to be demonstrated for the practical exercises / demonstration.

Q. Who can purchase an Assessor Marking guide?

A. Only trainers connected with a RTO (private or TAFE) can purchase the Assessor Marking Guides as these are designed to assist in marking Assessment Tools.

Q. Do your prices include GST?

A. All our Training and Assessment Resources prices include GST.

Q. When are orders dispatched for training resources?

A. Orders are dispatched within 3 working days.

Q. What is supplied with your MYOB training kit?

A. The MYOB Training Kit includes a copy of the current MYOB Student Edition software which allows up to 2000 transactions. All training exercise files are supplied on CD.

User Guide (Learner Guide)

Our User Guide can be used for distance learning (self paced) or in a classroom. Our User Guide includes activities which actively engage the students in the learning process.

Assessment Tool

Each unit has its own Assessment Tool. Our Assessment Tools contain a combination of written or oral questions, practical exercises and demonstrations.

Assessor Marking Guide

The Assessor Marking Guide provides solutions to the assessment tasks. Assessing is easy when using our Assessor Marking Guides.

Facilitator Guide (where available)

The Facilitator Guide is to be used by Trainers. Answers to the Training Activities are included in the Facilitator Guides.

Q: I have a student experiencing the following error, what should I tell them?

 MYOB AccountRight Plus v19 ED Error

Error 1305.Error reading from file C:\Plus19ED\ImportAssist\iasetup.exe. 

Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

A. You should firstly look at the minimum system requirements to run MYOB.

With this, the first two methods MYOB recommend using are:

Log on as Administrator

Run Disk Defrag – I also suggest that this is performed multiple times until such time as it takes less than a minute to   complete. This can take a few hours to go through for the first time so it is probably worth while not to perform this in class.

Install in Safe Mode.
